I think back
To the little house
When times seemed simpler
But realize it wasn't simple then either
So my mind wanders back even further
And I can't recall a time
When life was without its problems
So I'm going to find a place by the water
A place where
My mind can be free
And at peace
A place where
Life stretches into the horizon
And a gentle rocking soothes my soul
There will be warm breezes
Sand under my feet
A salty tang in the air
And I'll be able to go there
Whenever I want
All I will have to do
Is close my eyes.
